Long Reach Village-Wide Yard Sale

Date: Saturday, October 12^th , 8 am

Description: Declutter your house this fall. On Saturday, October 12th, hold a sale in your yard, and we'll take care of the advertising!
Location: We will list the participating streets in Long Reach on our website and social media.

Description: CA Village CARES & environmental groups have come together to raise awareness of invasive shrubs.
Register and reserve up to 2 native shrubs to be picked up at HCC on Oct. 19th.

Sip & Paint

Paint n’ Sip

Date: November 15, 2024

Location: Hickory Ridge

Description: Join us for an evening of painting, desserts & drinks! An artist from Pinot’s Palette will walk you through the steps to create your own Holidays In a Glass masterpiece. Supplies are provided and no artistic skills required. Must be 21 or older.

Date: October 10, 10 am- Jeffers Hill pathways

October 24, 10 am- Jackson Pond in Long Reach

Location: Park at the Jeffers Hill Neighborhood Center and meet outside the building (6031 Tamar Drive).

Park on Lightspun Lane and meet at the Jackson Pond Playground.

Description: Walktober, a statewide initiative program.

Sharp Disposal Drive-Thru Medication & Sharps Disposal Event

Date: Saturday October 26, 10am-2pm

Location: Wilde Lake Village Center Parking Lot

Description: Bring any and all prescriptions or over-the-counter medications, syringes, Epi-Pens, vitamins, and even pet medications. This allows these items to be disposed of safely (please don't flush them!) or end up in the hands of those who might misuse them. All medications are guarded and transported by DEA and Howard County Police.
