This month, we will discuss the new computer/technology gadgets (Airpods, Airtag, digital photo frame, photo scanner, etc.) that we bought or tested. Tell us if you are satisfied with your purchase? Does it help you in your daily lives? What was the price? Was it easy to set up before use?

A monthly virtual meeting for TVIH members to ask tech questions, share information, and learn together by studying free tech lessons available on the internet. No prior experience is required. Everyone is welcome to join this meeting.

In 2019, more than half of older adults bought a new tech product, whether it be a smartphone, laptop, or smart home device. The internet enables seniors to connect with loved ones or stay informed on current news and research. Searching for yummy recipes, watching videos, making telemedicine calls, paying bills, and social networking are all common reasons seniors choose to hop on the World Wide Web.

Once seniors are connected to the internet, getting online becomes part of their daily routine. Roughly 75 percent of older adults with an internet connection report that they use it daily.

In the new program, “Keep with technology”, our goal is to learn technology together by asking IT questions and sharing what we know with other members.
