Tour Guide: Dick Voelker

With the lifting of travel restrictions to and from Costa Rica in late 2021, it was time to begin a new birding and wildlife adventure. So, in October,Dick Voelker participated in a two and a half week photographic program, half with a private guide and half with a birding tour group of four.

 

A 30-minute Zoom video presentation is planned. This will consist of over 250 photos and music to capture images of birds, snakes, insects, butterflies, spiders, frogs, monkeys and flowers. It was an

amazing trip as you will see and Dick feels that it is his best set of wild life photos ever.

Three photographs are shown below: King Vulture, Nut Weevil and a Keel-billed Toucan in the rain. They are but a sampling of wildlife in the remote regions of Costa Rica.
