The 26th Annual Library of Congress National Book Festival will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (doors open at 8:30 a.m.).
The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are required.
The Village has reserved 12 tickets and can get more if there is more interest. Over 80 of the nation's best authors, storytellers, poets, illustrators and more, will discuss their work including Ann Patchett, David Rubinstein, Martin Scorsese, Cynthia Erivo, and Kate McKinnon.

Our group will meet to carpool from TVIH to the Metro at Greenbelt. Food is available at the Festival for lunch.
