About this event

Join the Travel Group trip to Glenstone, located in Potomac, MD.
Glenstone celebrates contemporary art, architecture, and nature. The museum and expansive grounds invite contemplation and reflection. The museum experience is a collection of post-World War II art.

Glenstone consists of a museum and miles of nature paths spread over 300 acres. We’ll explore the nature paths first, weather permitting. You may also proceed directly to the museum instead of walking the nature paths.

Registrants should be prepared for extensive walking, particularly if you choose the nature paths. The nature paths are designed to be firm and stable with accessible grades. Trails cut through wooded areas cover varying terrain and are intended to be experienced on foot. Visitors should wear comfortable and durable footwear. The Woodland Trail has a cart stop.

Glenstone encourages visitors to bring water bottles for the outdoor trails, especially in the warmer months. Fillings stations for water bottles are available at several points on our trails. Small snacks and personal food items may be brought, but no food or drink is allowed in the museum spaces.

We will carpool to the event. Volunteer drivers are requested.
