Live Performances Pod: Columbia Jazz Band, "Let's Dance!"
General Information:
The Live Performances Pod is open to any member of TVIH. Our primary purpose is to connect with other people to enjoy local arts and culture in person. You will need to purchase your own ticket from each Event's venue. The pod schedule is based on each event's date and time.
It is necessary to be on the email list to find out about the performances and to find out who else is going. We may want to have a meal or happy hour before or after each performance.
Nov 14 - Let’s Dance!
The Columbia Jazz Band starts out the 25/26 season with some of the great dance hits from the swing era.
You’ll want to put on your dancing shoes for hits like Chattanooga Choo Choo, It Don’t Mean a Thing (If it Ain’t Got That Swing), A String of Pearls, Tuxedo Junction, Moonlight Serenade, and Jump Jive an’ Wail. Don’t miss this season opener that will have you dancing in your seat!
TVIH members socialize together at the Wilde Lake Interfaith Center pre-concert for Happy Hour. Bring snacks and beverages. TVIH Members get tickets directly on the website at columbiaorchestra.org which cost $20.
