The Women's Pod typically visits different places of interest monthly, alternating between outings and lunches. The Pod determines their optimum group size and activities with the goal of facilitating positive supportive relationships. Members receive event information and confirm participation directly to their coordinator, Froydis Beckerman.

Background Information:
Frederick is a charming town and some of you had never visited there. We will start out at the Visitor Center, a great place to begin. From there we may proceed to the Delaplaine Art Center down the street and next to the parking garage. We will then stroll across and along Carroll Creek, a mile long promenade. It was named after Charles Carroll, a founding father and signer of the Declaration of Independence. The Creek was built to protect the city from floods that had devastated the city in 1868 and 1976. Carroll Creek has become one of Frederick's most treasured attractions. The Creek connects with Market Street which Is Frederick's Main Street. It's a historic district filled with shops, boutiques, art galleries and about 200 restaurants. Menus are generally posted outside the restaurants. Karol Hess was born in Frederick so she may have suggestions for restaurants and places to visit.
Instructions: We will meet at TVIH parking lot 9:30 A.M. to carpool. We may need 2 cars.
