Today's topic: Video Memoir, Jenny Davis (TVIH member)
Interviewer: Cathy Latham
Jenny, an American citizen, grew up in Tokyo, Japan. She came to the USA to go to college at the age of 18. She will tell us the culture shock that she experienced, and the impact that American Field Serve (AFS) has had on her family.
This is a TVIH program on Zoom, modeled after the popular NPR program, Storycorps. A TVIH member is interviewed in a 40 min. session. The interview is recorded by a video camera.
Registrants of this Good Morning Howard Session and the person interviewed will watch the recorded interview together on Zoom. After viewing the interview, 20 minutes will be available for a Q&A session and discussions.
We have to remember that our Memoir speakers aren’t speaking for us, but for future generations, telling the parts of life they want to be sure gets passed on.
