Virtual "Hooked on Books" Book Club
Description: A Book Club Discussion group that is interested in reading literary fiction, historical fiction, memoirs—books that will lend themselves to good discussions. We meet on the first Tuesday, every other month: February, April, June, August, October, December.
For the month of December, we will be reading "The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store" by James McBride
This is a murder mystery revolving around Black, Jewish and recent immigrants in a 1920's - 30's Pottstown community. This novel explores Black and Jewish affection and tensions in the 1930's.
