To continue the popular program, GMH, in September, we need a "Village" to help out.
GMH was started in 2020 (COVID time) by Fran D., Fran L., Cathy L., Kim and Jane, and Joy.
GMH reduced "loneliness and isolation" for our members during COVID. Last year, Fran Lorenzi invited many experts to teach us about housing choices. Kate Stevens has done a great job as the coordinator this year. She invited many outside speakers (healthcare, housing) to educate us about senior issues.
Kate will no longer serve as the coordinator of GMH in the fall of 2023. To continue the program, we need a coordinator and invited hosts to make a calendar.
Any member who is interested in get involved in the program, please come to the meeting to discuss the future of GMH. Hopefully we can come up with a tentative schedule for GMH in the fall or even going into 2024.
If you cannot come to the meeting, but are willing to serve as the host of a session or know a potential host in the fall, please email Kate Stevens. She will contact you to firm up the topic and date. GMH is a great place to share your passion with other TVIH members.
