The virtual coffee is for new members and friends who are interested in joining The Village in Howard.
Welcome to The Village in Howard!
About once every three months, we conduct a "Get Acquainted with Coffee" to welcome new members and provide information to them and to individuals who are considering joining The Village. We have typically done this in person at The Village headquarters in Steven's Forest, but we can't now, so it will virtually through Zoom.
We'd love it if you could come, and we can help you get to the meeting, if you are challenged by Zoom.
The meeting at 10:30 will include introductions of new members, prospective members, and members of our Membership Committee who are veterans of The Village. A 10 minute video, and an explanation of how to take advantage of the activities and services of The Village will be included. You can have coffee or tea at home to legitimize the name "Coffee", but the purpose is to say "Hello", to help you get the most from The Village, and perhaps for us to find out what level of involvement you would like to have.
The meeting room will open at 10:15 AM. If you have never used Zoom before, please come early to check that your camera and speaker are working properly.
You will need a device (computer, iPad, or smart phone) equipped with a camera and speaker.
