Karla and John Castner (TVIH members) will tell us about the true essence of the Hawaiian Islands, sharing their experience in living on Oahu in the 1990s, and looking at what Oahu, Maui, and Kauai have to offer based on their years as kamaʻāina (Hawaiian residents) and return trips back to paradise. Listen to their stories and share your own in this session that will leave you with an understanding of why the Aloha spirit, beauty of the islands, and cultural values and wisdoms of its native peoples have left a lifelong impression on the extended Castner ohana (family).
