Virtual "Hooked on Books" Book Club

Description:
A Book Club Discussion group that is interested in reading literary fiction, historical fiction, memoirs—books that will lend themselves to good discussions. We meet on the first Tuesday, every other month: February, April, June, August, October, December.

For the month of December, we will be reading “You Can't resist Me When My Hair Is In Braids,” by Francis Kai-Hwa Wang.
This book is not in the library but is available on Amazon. It is classified as “creative non-fiction” and is comprised of poetry-prose and essays – sort of a stream of consciousness memoir about an Asian-American woman and her family of Chinese aunties, her activism, messy divorce and tenuous relationships. This is an easy read—only 100 pages long.
