This month’s discussion: Combatting Climate Change? Going solar? A virtual discussion

One of the ingredients of the newly passed federal Inflation Reduction Act is a set of inducements to produce and use clean energy sources including solar energy. Why should we go solar? What does this entail? And what would its impact be? We have invited Natalia Franco and Bonnie Greer of Neighborhood Sun Solar to answer our questions. The discussion will start with the broad framework of climate change-and its impact on our lives. Natalia and Bonnie will briefly discuss different ways to reduce carbon emissions to produce energy, but will focus mainly on solar sources and how it all works to slow down climate change.
