AARP representative, Karen Kafantaris, knows the research that consistently finds that the vast majority of people age 50 and older want to stay in their homes and communities for as long as possible. She will walk us through the AARP HomeFit  guidance that was created to help people stay in the homes they love by turning where they live into a “lifelong home,” suitable for themselves and anyone in their household.  Come and hear room-by-room suggestions that are doable regardless of housing type (single-family house, apartment, mobile home, etc.) or ownership status (owner, renter).
