A lively discussion focusing on cognition as it relates to aging and how the brain changes as we age. We will examine what causes loneliness and if technology helps or hinders social isolation. We will talk about the importance of connections, and how to promote good brain health.

 

Presenter: Kim Burton is Director of Older Adult Programs for the Mental Health Assoc. of MD where she leads education programs and advocacy focusing on later life behavioral health. She is passionate about healthy aging and dispelling myths and stigma of aging.
