Here's To Good Health In 2018: Living Well With Hypertension, 10AM
The H.C. Office on Aging and Independence (OAI),in conjunction with TVIH, presents an interactive workshop for people with hypertension. Living Well with Hypertension is an interactive, 2.5-hour, workshop designed for those with hypertension or high blood pressure who want to know more about managing their condition. Topics covered include medication management, high blood pressure risks, nutrition and label guidance in common foods.
There is a $5.00 fee to participate that will be collected on the day of the workshop as check or cash (make check payable to Director of Finance, Howard County). Interested participants must contact Carla Johnston, Health and Wellness Coordinator, to complete the registration. Call (410) 313-3506 or email cjohnston@howardcountymd.gov.
Special Instructions:
Registration is required. Interested participants must contact Carla Johnston, Office on Aging and Independence, to complete the registration (TVIH is not handling the registration process for this workshop). Online registration is not available for this workshop.
Program hours: 10:00am - 12:30pm (Participants must arrive by 9:45am to complete paperwork and payment).
