My 3 Cents is a discussion group open to members that meets from 2:00 to 4:00 on the 4th Tuesday of each month. We dialogue over topics of current interest decided by the attendees at the previous month’s meeting. Input on future topics can be sent before each meeting to Bob Buchmeier.

What can TVIH do to be more intentional about women transitioning into retirement and widowhood?

  • What issues do older women face?
  • What does TVIH do now to empower its female members to use their talents?
  • What more can TVIH do to empower its female members to use their talents?
  • Should TVIH be reaching out to women facing retirement who are vulnerable but not yet members?
    • How do we find these individuals?
    • What is the best way to approach them?
    • What do we have to offer them?
