My 3 Cents is a discussion group open to members that meets from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month. We dialogue over topics of current interest decided by the attendees at the previous month’s meeting. Registration is required and is limited to 13. Input on future topics can be sent before each meeting to Bob Buchmeier.

Topics for this month are:

Sexual Abuse

Bullying

Gun Violence

Domestic Abuse/Violence

 

It seems a power dynamic is at play in these issues. We will attempt to address that power dynamic in our next discussion. The following questions will be used to stimulate our discussion:

  • Is there a feminine approach to power?
  • Does empowering all citizens aid in resolving power issues?
  • Will power dynamics change if a significant number of women are in positions of power?
