The tour includes a theater presentation on “Science on a Sphere” where participants are encouraged to ask questions regarding Goddard SFC and a variety of earth and planetary topics. (read more at https://www.nasa.gov/centers/goddard/visitor/exhibit/index/html ). This is followed by a guided tour at an observation window of one of the largest classrooms in the world where the James Webb Space Telescope was constructed. Followed by a 12:30p.m. lunch at nearby Ruby Tuesday’s restaurant.

Location address: Group will meet at 9:15AM at the Broken Land Pkwy. Park & Ride east side.


All registrations due by November 3.

Driving Instructions:
Go left leaving Broken Land parking lot. Merge onto Route 32 East. Go south on the Baltimore Washington Parkway. Exit onto Powder Mill Road. Turn left. At light go right on Soil Conservation Road. Take to the end. Go right on Greenbelt Road. Go right on ICESat Road. You are there.

To Ruby Tuesday's restaurant from the Visitors Center:
Go right on Greenbelt Road. At light, turn into Ciproano Square to the restaurant.

Leaving Ruby Tuesday's restaurant:
Go right on Greenbelt Road. Turn left on Good Luck Road which becomes Soil Conservation Road.
